Canada developed a food packaging film that can detect pathogenic bacteria

A Canadian company developed a food packaging film that can detect pathogens. It uses protein-based antibodies to detect Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Listeria, and other pathogens, when exposed to contaminated foods. That is, the occurrence of color change reaction, so as to determine the contamination of pathogens, put an end to the danger of food spoilage to humans.

To identify the packaging film of genetically modified raw materials, France introduced two new packaging films processed from ordinary PVC (pvc) materials to the market, which can be used to identify the use of genetically modified raw materials for packaged foods.
